Human Resources Business Partner

Coolfire is seeking a person to join our human resources team. We currently have a senior HR exec ready to train someone to step into the role OR turn over the keys to someone with solid experience. We are open to possibilities: someone who wants to learn and grow into the role; someone who is experienced but wants a less demanding or part-time role; or something else. The successful candidate knows the basics of human resources and can manage day-to-day tactical functions like updating employee data, managing recruiting, and overseeing the performance process.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take over recruiting – manage our Indeed account and review resumes, alert hiring managers to qualified candidates, do the initial phone screens
  • Manage employee data – we use Paycor for payroll and HR records; keep the data up-to-date, add new hires and process terminations
  • Stay abreast of important developments in human resources such as the evolution of remote work and continued response to COVID
  • Onboard new hires 
  • Assist with developing, improving and streamlining systems and procedures within the human resources department
  • Assist with creating and delivering training to managers and locating resources for external training opportunities

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum two years of human resources generalist experience. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Self-motivated and organized with excellent time/deadline management.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you need to be collaborative, hold yourself and others accountable, be transparent with yourself and others, and be highly adaptable to the ever-changing environment.
  • Experience with Paycor or similar payroll/HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with a variety of HR platforms and high level of comfort with technology.

Solutions Engineer – Government Team

Coolfire is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join its Government Team to support its growing global government and military business. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, deploying and maintaining cross-platform and tactical networks for the implementation of Coolfire’s situational awareness software products. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, configuration, installation, testing, troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance. Government/military experience is preferred but not essential.
