ST. LOUIS, MO – (January 20, 2014) Coolfire Solutions, a full-service creative development studio comprised of developers, engineers and designers working together to solve problems, has announced the appointment of Don Sharp as President effective November 18, 2013. As part of his new role, Mr. Sharp will lead Coolfire Solutions’ business development, product development and daily operations as the company continues to strategically focus on driving explosive growth across its products and services.
Mr. Sharp brings to Coolfire Solutions an impressive resume of global manufacturing expertise, large-scale strategic consulting, and, most recently, a tenure at a Fortune 250 company. At Coolfire Solutions, Mr. Sharp intends to continue focusing the company’s value offering on delivering solutions to the complexities that its clients and industries face. Mr. Sharp will also use his existing industry relationships to grow strategic partnerships for Coolfire.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Sharp spent over eight years managing Financial Services projects at Accenture in Chicago, Illinois. He then spent the next decade of his career managing strategies and relationships totaling over $1.5 billion at various strategic and technology consulting firms, including eLoyalty, Software Architects, and Marchfirst/Whittman-Hart. In 2007, Mr. Sharp joined a Fortune 250 global manufacturing firm, first as the Vice President & CIO and then as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Services. There, he drove transformations across a variety of functions, delivering several hundred million dollars in cost reductions during his five-year tenure. Mr. Sharp has also served as the Vice Chairman for the Greater Chicago Chapter of March of Dimes, a Trustee of the Morton Arboretum, and a Trustee of North Central College.
